MARCHESE FARM

Some days are spent outdoors and in the dirt.  Others, like today, are spent stuck in a car madly arranging farmers markets while your toddler takes a nap. Me thinks we need a little cot in the office...

Moving shavings one handful at a time is a great activity. J's birthday is on Thursday, we got her 25 very special surprises...  We have been getting ready for their arrival, she of course has no idea what we are doing.  She is under the impression we got her a bag of shavings as a gift, she couldn't be happier. Pit Stop We are racing to catch up after the storm that hit the East Coast.  We were already cutting it close with getting started this year and the storm only delayed us more.  With this being a new venture, all the equipment is also new (to us) and all has little things that have to be fixed (hit repeatedly with a hammer and mumbled at furiously) before we can use it. So here we are at the beginning of our journey!  After a cumulative 25 years of running farms for other people the Marchese's are finally branching out on their own!  It took almost 5 years of planning, coordinating, crying, and sometimes shear luck, but we are finally here.  22 acres of pure opportunity.  Time to call in the troops, this year is going to be a busy one!
